Unknown driver hits 2 pedestrians, flees scene in NW Harris Co., officials say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Two pedestrians were hit by an unknown driver who fled the scene in northwest Harris County on Sunday, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said.

According to HCSO, deputies responded to a crash in the 13000 block of Jones Road at Mills Road, where two pedestrians were reportedly hit.

The conditions of the two victims are unknown, officials said, but the agency did get an initial vehicle description of the silver/gray SUV truck that allegedly hit them.

Authorities said that Jones Road is currently shut down at Regency Green.
