Records show Steven Henry has been charged with arson and tampering with physical evidence in the death of 39-year-old Adrean Arrington, whose body was found shot inside a burning vehicle.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Nearly three years after a Marine veteran's body was found inside a burning vehicle in southwest Houston, court records show an arrest has been made in connection with the case.

Records show Steven Henry has been charged with arson and tampering with physical evidence in the death of 39-year-old Adrean Arrington.

In December 2023, police said Arrington's body was found with a gunshot wound to the head inside the trunk of a burning vehicle on Nelson Street.

In the days following the discovery, Arrington's family spoke with ABC13 and pleaded for answers to his murder.

Now, Henry has been charged in the case. It wasn't immediately disclosed how he was tied to the case or if any more charges are expected.
