HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Police say four suspects are in custody, including a teenager, after they responded to a robbery call that led them on a chase that ended near the Museum District.

Officers responded to an alarm call at 13484 Northwest Freeway at about 11:30 a.m. near a Walmart parking lot. stemming from a robbery, according to a police spokesperson.

Police followed a car from the area all the way down the 610 West Loop, with the suspect vehicle eventually crashing into a tree near Almeda and Wichita.

"The next thing I heard: sirens and came to the door, and there were police cars everywhere, all over the neighborhood with their guns drawn, and a car out there that hit the tree," neighbor Mary Lowery said.

SkyEye was above the end of the chase, where officers could be seen detaining someone.

Authorities confirmed they took four people, including a teenager, into custody in connection with the robbery and the chase.

According to the Houston Police Department, the teenager was found inside the bathroom of a gas station on South Freeway and Southmore Boulevard after officers said they found money outside of the building.

Investigators are looking into several robberies at grocery store customer service booths and banks over the last couple of weeks.

An HPD spokesperson says the department is still working to figure out how the teen is involved. Investigators said he is accused of having 'articles of clothing' associated with the robbery.
