Rabid bat found on Klein ISD elementary school playground

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A letter went home with students at a Klein ISD elementary school after a rabid bat was found on the playground this week.

The bat was found at Greenwood Forest Elementary School on Tuesday. It was sent to a lab, where it tested positive for rabies. The school doesn't believe any students made contact with it.
