Pedestrian hit and killed by 18-wheeler near IH-10 Katy Freeway at Beltway 8, sheriff says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Houston Police Department is investigating a fatal crash after a pedestrian was hit and killed by an 18-wheeler near IH-10 Katy Freeway at Beltway 8, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

The sheriff said that all main lanes on the IH-10 Katy Freeway at Beltway 8 are closed.
