Pasadena police release sketch of wanted child sex assault suspect

PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) -- A sketch of a child sex assault suspect was released about seven months after he was accused of attacking a child in Pasadena.

The Pasadena Police Department said the attack happened on Dec. 15, 2024, but why did it take seven months for this information to be released to the public?

The sketch that police posted on social media is dated April 4, but the image was released on Monday night.

The question remains unanswered, and details into the case are still unclear.

Investigators said the 15-year-old victim reported being attacked along Fairmont Parkway and Burke Road.

The suspect shown in the sketch was last seen in a "white truck" with tools in the back, according to officials.
