Six arrested in synthetic drug probe

MONTGOMERY, TX (KTRK) -- Three more arrests have been made in a school drug crackdown in Montgomery County, following a student's overdose death.

Police say the arrests were made on Thursday. That includes an 18-year-old who investigators say is connected to synthetic LSD. He's said to be a former student.

Two juveniles were also arrested at Montgomery Junior High Thursday for marijuana possession.

Two weeks ago, a Montgomery HS student died from what is believed to have been an overdose. And just Friday, two more students were hospitalized as a precaution.

We'll keep you updated on any new developments.
