Missing 71-year-old man found dead of apparent suicide

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- An elderly man who went missing on Friday has been found dead, according to sheriff's deputies.

Harris County Sheriff's Office said Mahabir Paul, 71, hanged himself in an apparent suicide.

He was suffering from diabetes and had been displaying the beginning stages of dementia.

We do not know how he was found.
