
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A man accused of firing a gun inside a Kroger store in the northwest side of town, injuring a man, has been identified, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office.
Just before 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Pct. 4 said deputies responded to the shooting at the store at 20355 Cypresswood Drive.
Deputies said the shooting may have stemmed from a domestic disturbance between two men, including the alleged shooter, who they said was hospitalized after sustaining a gunshot wound to his neck. The other man, who was shot by the suspect, was flown to the hospital.

On Thursday, officials said the suspected shooter was identified as Kaden Ausbrooks.
According to the constable's office, he remains in the hospital being treated but will be booked into the Harris County Jail once released.
The victim, according to Pct. 4, also remains hospitalized.
Authorities said Ausbrooks has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury.
