Man shot in north Houston walked into store for help, later died at hospital, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas -- Houston police are investigating a deadly shooting after a man walked into a convenience store with several gunshot wounds and later died at the hospital.

Police said the 35-year-old man walked along Greens Road and East Hardy looking for help after he was shot in the 15900 block of West Hardy around 11 p.m. Sunday.

According to authorities, the man made it to a nearby store but died at the hospital.

Police said they don't have a description of a suspect yet, but investigators are looking for surveillance video in the area.
