Man hospitalized after deputy discharges firearm in northeast Harris County, sheriff says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A man is hospitalized after a deputy-involved shooting in northeast Harris County on Wednesday, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

According to Gonzalez, deputies responded to a disturbance in the 15600 block of Morning Dove Drive.

Based on preliminary information, a deputy discharged their weapon and hit a man, who was later taken to a hospital.

Law enforcement says there are no injuries to any deputies.

At this time, it is unclear what led up to the shooting.
