Man found dead in car after gunfire erupts at Houston's METRO Southeast Transit Center, police say

HOUSTON, Texas -- A man was shot and killed at the METRO Southeast Transit Center in Houston on Sunday evening, according to police.

METRO police said the shooting involved people who pulled into the transit center on Scottcrest near Old Spanish Trail in a red Ford Ranger and a silver Buick.

Witnesses reported hearing two gunshots before the Ford Ranger drove away. Authorities later reported finding a man dead inside the Buick.

METRO police said the people involved were not METRO passengers. No suspects have been identified, and investigators have not released details on what led to the shooting.
