HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police say at least four people were shot at a New Year's Eve party at a short-term rental in Third Ward.
Officers responded to the shooting at 12:24 a.m. in the 3100 block of Live Oak Street on Thursday.
Partygoers say there were around 100 people at the party, popping fireworks when they heard gunshots.
Police say four people who were shot are in the hospital, and one person who was grazed was treated at the scene.
Police say most of the witnesses left before officers got there, and the ones who did stay aren't giving them any details about what happened.
Editor's note: Police initially said the shooting was at an Airbnb, but Airbnb confirms it wasn't with them.
