Investigation underway after 2 bodies found under bridge in downtown Houston, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A death investigation is underway after two people were found under a bridge in downtown Houston on Monday, according to the Houston Police Department.

According to HPD, officers responded to the scene at 5:02 p.m. in the 1900 block of Congress.

Police said that the bodies of the victims appear to be homeless and they likely froze to death due to the cold weather.
