Humble police investigating after they say pedestrian was hit and killed near FM-1960

HUMBLE, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation is ongoing after authorities say a pedestrian died in the Humble area on Monday.

The Humble Police Department confirmed the incident happened near FM-1960 Bypass Road W.

Officers said someone was fatally hit by a vehicle, but couldn't give more information about what happened.

It's unclear whether the driver involved stayed at the scene.
