Hempstead Mayor accused of abuse of official capacity

HEMPSTEAD, Texas (KTRK) -- Hempstead Mayor Michael Shayne Wolfe has been released on bond after an arrest Thursday.

Wolfe is accused of abuse of official capacity.

Wolfe's bond was set at $5,000, according to authorities.
