Harris County Precinct 4 deputy injured in crash, constable's office says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office says one of their deputies was injured following an overnight crash.

At about 2 a.m, the constable's office shared images of the wreck on social media, saying the Pct. 4 deputy's patrol vehicle was hit by another vehicle in the 17400 block of the North Freeway.

The deputy, officials said, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is OK.

Authorities did not say what led up to the crash.
