
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation is underway after a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle along the I-10 East Freeway on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD said that the crash happened at the 11,000 block of the East Freeway.
According to police, the driver remained at the scene.
There is no word on the pedestrian's condition at this time.
According to Harris County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Terry Garza, all eastbound lanes of the East Freeway at John Ralston Road have been shut down. At this time, drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
