HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The Harris County Fire Marshal's Office says investigators need help identifying two juveniles who were seen running in the area of a tank farm fire on Wednesday.
At about 2:40 p.m., Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to numerous calls for service to a tank fire in the area of Veterans Memorial and West Richey Road.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the fire was contained as of 4:20 p.m.
Deputies say there were two tanks burning: petroleum storage tanks that pumped natural gas from the ground, and the byproduct of the petroleum products began burning.
Officials added there were no health concerns with the smoke and that no injuries were reported.
The fire marshal's office shared video of the juveniles seen running from the area, saying that "Their well-being is priority." They said one of the juveniles was seen splashing water in their face at a nearby retention pond and may need medical attention.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, but an investigation is underway.
