Cougar gets stuck in tree in Portland, OR

PORTLAND, OR (KTRK) -- It seems whether it's a house cat or a big cat, felines and trees don't mix.

A cougar got stuck in a tree in Portland, OR.

The animal evaded police multiple times before it climbed a tree.

The cougar sat there for a few hours before police crews found it and tranquilized it.

The cougar has since been released back into the wild.
