MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman is facing felony charges for allegedly operating a medical spa in Magnolia without a medical license, and traveling across the state, giving Botox injections and lip fillers in her homes, according to records.

An investigation into Michelle Davis King began in April 2025, after allegations that she falsely presented herself as a registered nurse or other medical professional and was performing the procedures, records state.

Documents alleged that some of the procedures were done as far back as 2022.

The joint investigation conducted by the Montgomery County Narcotics Enforcement Team (MOCONET) and VICE units found two victims who were hurt as a result of the procedures.

King, according to the sheriff's office, was arrested after an undercover operation.

"She showed up with the product," Capt. John Schmitt with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said. "One of the things I did ask is, 'Where does the product come from and how did people that aren't licensed obtain it?' Some of these products are coming from Korea, Canada, overseas, and going around the DEA to do that."

On Aug. 22, King was taken into custody on two active felony warrants, with a $25,000 bond for each charge of practicing medicine without a license, according to court documents.
