WALLER COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The Brookshire Police Department said crews are working to move a stalled train that has closed down multiple railroad crossings in the area.
Officials with the Waller County Office of Emergency Management were notified of a train incident just before 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The city says that a train car seemingly damaged the track, causing it to stall. Officials reiterated in a statement that it is not a train derailment.
Police said the train is blocking all railroad crossings in the area except for Kenney and Depot Street.
Drivers are urged to use those routes until the area has been cleared,
Officials did not say how long it would take to remove the train.
