Boy, 3, shoots self in foot while playing with gun

HUMBLE, TX (KTRK) -- A three-year-old boy shot himself in the foot while playing with a gun in northeast Harris County last night.

Authorities have not said if any adults were in the home on Fawn Park Court near Storm Cove View when the shooting happened.

The boy was taken to the hospital and is expected to live. The pistol was a semi-automatic.

Child Protective Services and Harris County sheriff's deputies are investigating.
