Lanes reopen after box truck crash on SH 288 at Holmes Road, Houston TranStar reports

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- All of the northbound lanes of SH 288 near Holmes Road have reopened following a box truck crash on Monday morning, Houston TranStar confirmed.

Just before noon, TranStar cameras showed the crash had blocked all but one lane, leaving a single lane for traffic to get by.

Footage from the scene also showed a fire truck and other first responders at the crash site.

Drivers were urged to use Almeda Road or Cullen Boulevard as alternate routes.

As of 5:50 p.m., Houston TranStar reported that all the northbound lanes have reopened after the scene was cleared.
