During his acceptance speech, Wagner talked about how his life around baseball has come full circle.

"Being up here today - I feel like my baseball life has come full circle. I was a fan before I could play, and now that my playing days are over and I'm back to being a fan, but I'm lucky enough to be a fan with the inside view of this great game, a kid in a candy shop," he said.

Wagner is the third Astro to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

He joins his teammates Jeff Bagwell and Craig Biggio.
