Crash involving traffic control vehicle closes multiple EB lanes of South Loop near Kirby: TxDOT
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A multi-car crash involving a traffic control vehicle on the South Loop has caused multiple eastbound lanes near Kirby Drive to shut down on Saturday morning, TxDOT says.
Houston TranStar reported the crash happened at about 10:20 a.m. and involved four vehicles, prompting the three right eastbound main lanes and right shoulder to close.
In a post on social media, TxDOT confirmed the crash has caused road closures, adding that the crash involved a traffic control vehicle.
Houston TranStar cameras captured images of the crash's aftermath, showing emergency crews shutting off multiple lanes as they clear the scene.
