VANDALIA, OH (KTRK) -- Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump looked visibly startled for a moment in Ohio.
A man attempted to rush the stage during a rally in Vandalia.
Secret Service officers quickly surrounded the GOP frontrunner. Trump was not harmed.
A spokeswoman for the Trump campaign says "a man attempted to breach the secure buffer and was removed rapidly and professionally."
Trump said he was ready for the intruder, but in his words "it's much easier if the cops do it."
Law enforcement sources said the man will be charged with disorderly conduct.
The attempted security breach comes less than a day after a large protest caused the Trump campaign to cancel a rally at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
