PHILADELPHIA -- Danial Moore is a pilot who was tasked with taking a two-month old patient from Hagerstown, Maryland, to Children's' Hospital of Philadelphia.
Something went wrong during the flight and Moore realized he would have to maneuver a crash landing in Drexel Hill, a suburb of Philadelphia, only a few miles from the final destination.
He miraculously crash landed the helicopter in front of Drexel Hill United Methodist Church, avoiding the building, power lines, and people during the crash.
Everyone survived.
Moore was the only one hurt with broken bones. After undergoing surgeries at Penn Presbyterian Hospital, Moore was released with a heroes welcome.
