HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A possible serial robber could be on the loose in midtown. Witnesses say his latest target was a CVS pharmacy.
Jeremiah Batista says he went to the store on Bagby and West Gray around 1am Sunday morning and ran into the suspect in the parking lot.
He tells us the man was carrying the money tray in plain sight and had just robbed employees inside at gunpoint.
Batista said, "Yeah, it's a little scary when you're just going to the pharmacy to get some toothpaste before you go to bed and you encounter someone with a gun sticking up the establishment."
The man ran from the scene and hasn't been seen since.
Police told Batista the man may be connected to several other robberies in the area.
