Reward offered after cat, kittens found burned in SW Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston SPCA is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever burned a cat and her kittens.

The cat and kittens were rescued September 4 from an apartment complex in southwest Houston. The three-year-old cat and 8 week old kittens are suffering from extensive burns on their bodies. They're receiving treatment at the SPCA and are said to be resting comfortably.

The Houston SPCA is working closely with investigators. Anyone with information about this crime is urged to call (713) 755-7628.
