HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Crews are preparing for a major traffic switch on US 290 westbound lanes over W. 34th Street this weekend. The lanes will be shifted to the right on the new W. 34th Street bridge. From 9pm, Friday, December 4 through 5am, Monday, December 7, the westbound lanes of US 290 from W. 34th to Antoine will be closed. Drivers will be detoured to the feeder road at the W. 34th exit and can reenter the freeway past Antoine. Also, the North Loop westbound connector to US 290 westbound will be closed. Drivers will be detoured to the feeder road at the T.C. Jester exit, and reenter the freeway past Antoine.

Hey Cougar fans! If you are planning to head to the game, we have your parking and transportation covered. Cash parking is available on the East side of campus, off of Spur 5. It's $10 for cars and SUVs, $20 for limos, and $30 for RVs, Buses, and trailers. Free shuttles are also available. The south shuttle will pick up fans on University Drive at the Welcome Center Parking garage. The North Shuttle will pick up fans off of Elgin Street, at the East end of Lot 16B. Shuttle buses will run from 8am until one hour after the game ends. Also, don't forget you can take METRORail's new purple line straight to the stadium. It's just a $1.25 each way!
