HOUSTON (KTRK) -- With a smartphone in every pocket and more apps than stars in the sky, the world isn't just at your fingertips-it's racing toward your front door. The beauty and wellness industries are not about to be left behind and when it comes to popular non-surgical procedures like Botox and filler, some providers are now taking their services on the road.

One med spa adding wheels to the idea of luxury skin care is, NuMe Express.

"We roll to where you are. You've set that up ahead of time or your company has or your organization or association and you walk downstairs and out the front door and there we are," said Dr. Clayton Moliver, medical director of NuMe Express.

From Botox to chemical peels, the mobile med spa offers all the traditional treatments you would find in a brick and mortar clinic, but with the convenience to fit any schedule.

"I knew the van was going to be in this location and could work around what I had going on in my day and come here," said Annette McBride.

Moliver said the mobile med spa idea is that is gaining popularity.

"This is something people are ready for," said Moliver.

For those outside of Houston, the Institute of Anti-Aging Medicine now offers med spa concierge services outside of the loop, including the Friendswood and Clear Lake areas. Nurse injectors drive to the home of a patient for either a quick touch-up or a full treatment. Often, friends and neighbors are invited.

"I didn't have to take a lot of time out of my day to travel across Houston to a spa. I just walk across the street and the miracle happened," said Beth Hill.

Experts say Botox and fillers need to be reapplied regularly in order to maintain its youthful effects.

"That's really where this concierge service can help because a lot of times we'll miss that window and they won't be able to come in for six months, at which point in time the effect has worn off," said Dr. Richard LeConey, owner and operator of the Institute of Anti-Aging Medicine and Skin Spa.

Beauty-on-the-go options save patients time in the car or the waiting room. Many say, it frees up their schedules to focus on other things in their busy lives.
