Two injured in major wreck along Hwy. 6 at Huffmeister

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two people were taken to area hospitals after a major wreck in northwest Houston this morning.

It happened at around 4:20am on Highway 6 at Huffmeister and involved a tow truck and pickup. At this point, it's not clear what led to the accident. The driver of the pickup was transported to the hospital by Life Flight, the tow truck driver by ground.

Two northbound lanes of Highway 6 were shut down during the investigation. We don't have the conditions of the drivers.
