PALM BEACH, FL (KTRK) -- A former Miami Dolphins player is battling hypothermia after falling off his fishing boat and swimming for 10 hours to reach shore near Palm Beach, Florida.

Rob Konrad Jr. was barefoot after his nine-mile swim to shore and wearing nothing but underwear when he was found. He was taken to the hospital. Konrad said he had put his boat on autopilot while he tried to reel in a fish. He fell overboard and the boat sped out of reach.
