Statewide Amber Alert in effect for missing 8-year-old girl

EL RENO, OK (KTRK) -- An Amber Alert is in effect across Texas for a missing 8-year-old Oklahoma girl.

The El Reno Police Department in Oklahoma is searching for Mabel Lopez. The young girl is believed to be with Arcenio De Jseus. They were both last seen in El Reno on Thursday.

Mabel has black hair and brown eyes. She stands 4 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 50 pounds. De Jesus, 38, stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs around 162 pounds.

They're believed to be in a dark gray 2005 Ford Explorer with an Oklahoma license plate number of 689 LHD.
