Robbery suspects flee after flipping truck during Houston police chase

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Some robbery suspects are still on the run after they crashed a stolen truck during a police chase in southeast Houston.

Police say the truck was taken last night and was spotted at the scene of a robbery on Bellfort Street near Nunn Street.

An officer saw the truck and attempted to pull the driver over, but that is when they gave chase with the officer in pursuit.

The officer hit the truck with her cruiser at Bellfort and Glencrest after she says the driver slammed on the brakes. The truck flipped and then the suspects bailed from the vehicle and ran.

She chased them on foot but ended up losing the suspects in a neighborhood.
