Residents safe after Halloween house fire

CONROE, TX -- A family is safe after a fire began in the garage of their home about 9:45 Halloween night, according to Captain Colwyn Lee of the Needham Fire Department.

Three people escaped after the fire broke out in the 300 Block of Hill Brook in Conroe.

"The bulk of the fire was in the garage and began to go through the roof as firefighters arrived," Lee said. "The fire spread through some of the house."
