HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A massive crowd showed up in Houston's Fifth Ward Sunday night for J. Prince Jr.'s second annual block party.
The rapper promoted the block party on social media and featured an appearance from Grammy-winning rapper Drake.
Those in attendance told Eyewitness News that close to 5,000 people showed up for the party.
"We had a great time," Lonnie Ross said.
At one point during the event, a huge amount of police were called to the scene for precautionary reasons. Last year, a shooting erupted in a similar event.
