Man stabbed in neck in argument over cellphone

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An argument over a cell phone ended with a man stabbed and in the hospital.

It happened at the Hollyvale Apartments in the 400 block of Hollyvale at Lilja in north Harris County.

Police say a group of men were handing out in the parking lot when one of the men accused another of stealing his cellphone. A fight broke out, and police say someone pulled out an unknown object and stabbed another man in the neck.

The victim was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.
