Florida judge gets into fight with public defender

BREVARD COUNTY, FL (KTRK) -- A heated argument between a judge and a public defender led to a fist fight and part of the exchange was caught on camera.

"I'm the public defender and I have a right to be here," said the public defender.

"I said sit down! If you want to fight, let's go out back and I'll just beat your (expletive)," said the judge.

The public defender says he thought they would just talk things out. It took two deputies to break up the fight.

The judge was not arrested, and it does not appear charges will be filed, according to CNN. However, the public defender's office said the incident will be reported to the Florida bar.
