HOUSTON (KTRK) -- There are legal troubles for Houston Police Chief Charles McClelland.

The chief is now being sued by the man he hit while driving in October of last year. The chief was making a left hand turn when his car collided with James Harris.

He stopped to help and called 911. The chief was cited for failing to yield the right of way.

Harris is now suing, claiming the chief was negligent. No word on what the man is after.
