Police searching for gunmen in deadly apartment complex shooting

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One man is dead and another in the hospital after a shooting at a southwest Harris County apartment complex.

It happened around 8:50pm at the Woodbridge Crossing Apartments on Empanada near Golden Star.

Police say two men were walking through the apartment complex when they were approached by two other men who were wearing hoodies. The two men in the hoodies then opened fire.

One of the victims died on scene from gunshot wounds. The second was shot in the mouth and was rushed to the hospital. He should survive.

Police believe the shooting was drug related, but they say their investigation is ongoing.
