Halloween mask wearing robber sought in holdup

SUGAR LAND, TX (KTRK) -- Sugar Land police are looking for a man who robbed WB Food Mart, 13003 West Bellfort Blvd., on Tuesday.

The owner said a masked man entered the business at 10:20am, displayed a pistol and demanded money from the register and a shoe box located under the counter. The man ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no customers in the store, and the owner was not injured.

Police say the suspect is described as a heavy-set black man who was 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighed 220-240 pounds. He was wearing black shorts with white stripes, high-top shoes that were not laced up, a black hoodie shirt and a Halloween mask.
