HOUSTON (KTRK) -- You can file this one under "ways you don't want to wake up in the morning."
Surveillance video shows a six-foot long alligator at a northeast Harris County home Tuesday morning.
An expert from Texas Parks and Wildlife struggled with the gator for nearly half an hour before he finally managed to get it inside his truck.
The gator was taken to a gator farm.
"It's a heck of a way to start your morning," laughed homeowner Frank Knighten. "The second cup of coffee wasn't necessary."
