HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Firefighters are working to determine what started a fire that ripped through a home in northeast Houston late last night.
The flames broke out around 11:55pm at a home on Pickfair at Cavalcade.
A woman who was asleep insider her bedroom woke up and saw sparks. She ran out of the bedroom and woke up her two brothers. All three occupants then safely exited the home and called 911.
By the time firefighters arrived, the home was fully engulfed by flames. The home is a total loss.
No one got hurt. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
