Clear Creek ISD school bus involved in crash

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Clear Creek ISD school bus has been involved in a crash with a vehicle in the Clear Lake area.

A school bus was involved in an accident outside Clear Lake Intermediate School on October 26, 2016.

A white car collided with the bus at El Dorado Boulevard at El Camino Real, near Clear Lake Intermediate School.

There were 40 students and a driver on board the school bus, according to a school district spokesperson. Four students were injured and taken to an area hospital. Their parents have been notified.

The rest of the students were transferred to another bus to continue on to Clear Lake High School.

The white car appears to have heavy damage on the driver's side, with a severely crushed front end of the vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.
