Chase ends with crash in Ft. Bend County

SUGAR LAND, TX -- A chase in Ft. Bend County ended with one person in custody.

Preliminary information from Sugar Land police indicate a suspect was being chased by DPS and the Wharton County Sheriff's Office after either a robbery or burglary.

The pursuit ended at 59 northbound at Williams Trace when the suspect's vehicle struck another vehicle. One suspect was taken into custody. At this point, it's not clear whether or not another person was arrested or not.

At this point, it's unclear if anyone was hurt.
