LONG BEACH, CA -- A 3-week-old girl is missing from a California home where the baby's mother, father and uncle were found shot, police said Sunday.
Long Beach police were seeking an adult male in the shooting and have not said if the suspect is related to the missing infant. His motive was unknown.
Officers went to the residence Saturday evening after receiving a call about the shooting and found the two brothers and the baby's mother with gunshot wounds, police spokesman Marlene Arrona said.
One of the brothers is the father of the baby, she said.
Two of the victims remained hospitalized in critical but stable condition. The other gunshot victim was treated and released.
The 10-pound baby girl, named Eliza Delacruz, is the focus of an urgent police search.
Police released a photo that showed the child sleeping on a red blanket with a white bow in her hair and wearing a ruffled white dress.
