An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 7-month-old baby last seen with her mother, who has had parental rights terminated

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Texas Center for the Missing has issued a Houston Regional Amber Alert for Harris County Constable Precinct 7 Office for seven-month-old A'Million Meshelle Shelton.

A'Million was last seen at least two months ago with her mother, Chantey Denise Myers, who has had her parental rights terminated for this child and five others. They were last both known to be living with the maternal grandparents in the 900 Burma Road in Houston.

The child's grandfather, however, is telling Eyewitness News a different story. He says they know the whereabouts of the mom and child, and both are just fine.

"The child is definitely OK. CPS has took four kids from us, grandkids of mine. And I pray to God that it don't happen no more," the grandfather said.

Myers, 24, is an African American female, approximately 4'9 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information regarding the child or the suspect is asked to immediately call the Harris County Precinct 7 Office at 713-643-6602 and refer to case # HC1500-72028. No vehicle information is available at this time.
