Adorable twin panda cubs' names announced

MACAO, CHINA (KTRK) -- Two adorable panda twins in China have gone a few months without a name -- until now.

Meet Jianjian and Kangkang, twins born back in late June.

Their names mean 'good health' in Chinese. According to reports from Chinese state media, the cubs' parents names signify happiness.

The cubs' names were chosen from a naming contest that had more than 1,700 submissions.

At birth, the twins weighed less than half a pound, but they now weigh in at over 8 pounds each.
